Ios 9 Drawing In Notes

Notes app, in previous iOS versions, notes app probably just a boring application. Nothing we can do with this app except of course write a note. But now, in iOS9 apple does something different with this app. Apple added a deck of new features including actionable checklists, sketching, and photo uploading. That's a very good improvement for sure.

1. Organizing into Folder

In iOS 9 Notes you can organize all your notes into folders. Something that you can't get in the previous version. Tap on New Folder, create a name for it, and hit Save. Now you can start saving your notes in corresponding folders, making it more tidy and easy to find, right?

And, you can move your notes to different folders. Open up the folder that contain notes you want to move tap Edit in the right corner. After that select the note(s) you want to move and tap Move To in the bottom left corner. Finally, choose the folder you want to move the notes to or create a new folder to save your note.

2. Images and photos

How to add photos in note? Inside any note, tap on the Camera icon to add a photo from your library or take a new photo. The photo will directly add inside of the current note you are working on.

3. Viewing your Attachments

You can see all of your photos, sketches, and URLs in the Attachments section by tapping the Attachments icon inside of any folder to view all of your attachments. Clicking on an attachment and you will go to the note containing the image.

4. Creating to-do list

In iOS 9 Notes, we can actually create actionable to-do list. Using the new formatting menu, tap the Checklist icon in the very left. It will create the first row of your checklist where you will enter in the line item. Hit return to continue with the checklist. Aftee you have completed an item on your checklist, tap the circle and the item will be checked off.

5. Drawing sketches

Inside any note, tap on the Sketch icon (squiggle) to open the drawing board. The drawing board offers some utensils: pen, marker, pencil, ruler, and eraser. Tap on the item to use it with your sketch. The ruler is very handy for drawing straight lines or spacing out multiple objects in a sketch. Tap on the ink circle on the right to select different colors. It also has Undo and Redo and the option to share the sketch by Message, Facebook, Mail , etc.

6. Formating options

In the iOS 9 version, they have included numerous formatting options like Headings, Bullet Points, Lists, etc. You access the Formatting menu, by tapping the Aa icon. Now, making a bulleted list is very easy.

Or you can select a word or group of words and then select formatting options from the pop-up action bar.

7. Adding websites and links

You can use Safari to find a website you want to save, tap the Share icon and select Notes. Also you can select which note to save the website to and then select Save
